We're giving the least legal tender a new life to enhance your game of Jerry Garcia's Cosmic Journey.

Why pennies? If you think you have Bummers in your life, consider the US Penny. Lingering forgotten in pockets or jars of loose change. Left on the counter for anyone to take or leave. And now, threatened with extinction.

These tokens are engraved and struck on circulated pennies by the excellent artisans at Shire Post Mint in West Fork Arkansas on vintage presses formerly used by The Denver Mint.

Please Note: Tokens will vary in appearance as each Bummer has come from pennies of varying circulation and tragic backstory. Tokens have given up on capitalism and cannot be used as legal tender.

Contains: 37 All American Bummer Tokens, Canvas Bummer Stash Bag

Benjamin ★★★★★

The penny design is such a clever nod to the theme, and the tokens have a nice, solid feel in hand. They've made tracking the bad vibes in our Cosmic Journey games way more tactile and fun.

Victoria B. ★★★★★

These little pennies add such a fun twist to our game nights. The copper coins feel sturdy in hand and stack nicely on the board, way more satisfying than plain tokens.

Chloe C. ★★★★★

Wasn't sure pennies could feel like real game pieces until I used these as bummer tokens in Cosmic Journey. They have a satisfying weight and clink when you slide them across the table, way better than scraps of paper.
